4 But every man is tempted by his own concupiscence, being drawn away and allured.


And when he had destroyed the altars, and the groves, and had broken the idols in pieces, and had demolished all profane temples throughout all the ]and of Israel, he returned to Jerusalem.


5 Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep, and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.


3 The wicked man taketh gifts out of the bosom, that he may pervert the paths of judgment.


2 I wisdom dwell in counsel, and am present in learned thoughts.


5 For our soul is humbled down to the dust : our belly cleaveth to the earth.


0 Surely they that pass their time in wine, and study to drink of their cups.


The words of the double tongued are as if they were harmless: and they reach even to the inner parts of the bowels. Fear casteth down the slothful: and the souls of the effeminate shall be hungry.


3 The heart of the wise shall instruct his mouth: and shall add grace to his lips.


64 Seven times a day I have given praise to thee, for the judgments of thy justice.


8 I entreated thy face with all my heart: have mercy on me according to thy word.


6 God hath softened my heart, and the Almighty hath troubled me.


For it shall be health to thy navel, and moistening to thy bones.


4 Be not delighted in the paths of the wicked, neither let the way of evil men please thee.
