The king, that sitteth on the throne of judgment, scattereth away all evil with his look.


0 And they shall make a noise against them that day, like the roaring of the sea; we shall look towards the land, and behold darkness of tribulation, and the light is darkened with the mist thereof.


He that observeth the wind, shall not sow: and he that considereth the clouds, shall never reap.


3 Are not these things from the Lord of hosts? for the people shall labour in a great fire: and the nations in vain, and they shall faint.


And she called for Athach the eunuch, whom the king had appointed to attend upon her, and she commanded him to go to Mardochai, and learn of him why he did this.


7 And the servants of the princes of the provinces went out first. And Benadad sent. And they told him, saying: There are men come out of Samaria.


4 But the rest of the acts of Ela, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Israel?


5 What sentence ought to pass upon Vasthi the queen, who had refused to obey the commandment of king Assuerus, which he had sent to her by the eunuchs?


Because war is managed by due ordering: and there shall be safety where there are many counsels.
