The wicked have wrought upon my back: they have lengthened their iniquity.


9 Which we have as an anchor of the soul, sure and firm, and which entereth in even within the veil;


And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire, and them that had overcome the beast, and his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having the harps of God:


4 Every one therefore that heareth these my words, and doth them, shall be likened to a wise man that built his house upon a rock,


Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. We give thanks to God, and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you.


3 Her husband is honourable in the gates, when he sitteth among the senators of the land.


The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood: the mouth of the just shall deliver them.


For they that will become rich, fall into temptation, and into the snare of the devil, and into many unprofitable and hurtful desires, which drown men into destruction and perdition.


And he, beholding him, being seized with fear, said: What is it, Lord? And he said to him: Thy prayers and thy alms are ascended for a memorial in the sight of God.


8 And it came to pass when Jesus had fully ended these words, the people were in admiration at his doctrine.

1 Timothy, my fellow labourer, saluteth you, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen.


Maketh his round by the south, and turneth again to the north: the spirit goeth forward surveying all places round about, and returneth to his circuits.


All things are hard: man cannot explain them by word. The eye is not filled with seeing, neither is the ear filled with hearing.
