Let the people, O God, confess to thee: let all the people give praise to thee:


5 All the days of the poor are evil: a secure mind is like a continual feast.


4 May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered in the sight of the Lord: and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.


0 There is a treasure to be desired, and oil in the dwelling of the just: and the foolish man shall spend it.


9 And Jesus said: For judgment I am come into this world; that they who see not, may see; and they who see, may become blind.

The prudent man saw the evil, and hid himself: the simple passed on, and suffered loss.
