4 The slothful hideth his hand under his armpit, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth.


1 If the just man receive in the earth, how much more the wicked and the sinner.


2 When thy brother a Hebrew man, or Hebrew woman is sold to thee, and hath served thee six years, in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free:


5 Remember that thou also wast a bondservant in the land of Egypt, and the Lord thy God made thee free, and therefore I now command thee this.


6 He that oppresseth the poor, to in- crease his own riches, shall himself give to one that is richer, and shall be in need.


He that is good, shall draw grace from the Lord : but he that trusteth in his own devices doth wickedly.


5 Grace be with you all. Amen.


3 Thy princes are faithless, companions of thieves: they all love bribes, the run after rewards. They judge not for the fatherless: and the widow's cometh not in to them.


1 And behold it was all filled with nettles, and thorns had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall was broken down.


The just taketh notice of the cause of the poor: the wicked is void of knowledge.


He that loveth correction, loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is foolish.
