0 And one that looseth his garment in cold weather. As vinegar upon nitre, so is he that singeth songs to a very evil heart. As a moth doth by a garment, and a worm by the wood: so the sadness of a man consumeth the heart.


A deceitful balance is an abomination before the Lord: and a just weight is his will.


4 He that spareth the rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him correcteth him betimes.


Would God that we had died in Egypt and would God we may die in this vast wilderness, and that the Lord may not bring us into this land, lest we fall by the sword, and our wives and children be led away captives. Is it not better to return into Egypt?


2 Hast thou seen a man wise in his own conceit? there shall be more hope of a fool than of him.


4 As the door turneth upon its hinges, so doth the slothful upon his bed.
