7 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any; such thing; but that it should be holy, and without blemish.

9 That say: Let him make haste, and let his work come quickly, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel come, that we may know it.


8 She lieth in wait in the way as a robber, and him whom she shall see unwary, she will kill.


The shield of his mighty men is like fire, the men of the army are clad in scarlet, the reins of the chariot are flaming in the day of his preparation, and the drivers are stupefied.


The king, that sitteth on the throne of judgment, scattereth away all evil with his look.


3 Now therefore let not my lord the king take this thing into his heart, saying: All the king's sons are slain: for Amnon only is dead.


3 Zabulon shall dwell on the sea shore, and in the road of ships, reaching as far as Sidon.
