By faith Henoch was translated, that he should not see death; and he was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had testimony that he pleased God.


God is not before his eyes: his ways are filthy at all times. Thy judgments are removed from his sight: he shall rule over all his enemies.


9 Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the Lord: which I sent to them by my servants the prophets, rising by night, and sending: and you have not heard, saith the Lord.


1 My son, fear the Lord and the king: and have nothing to do with detracters.


9 For unto you it is given for Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him.


7 Prepare thy work without, and diligently till thy ground: that afterward thou mayst build thy house.


For my iniquities are gone over my head : and as a heavy burden are become heavy upon me.


It were better for him, that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should scandalize one of these little ones.


May he give thee according to thy own heart; and confirm all thy counsels.


Behold they shall speak with their mouth, and a sword is in their lips: for who, say they, hath heard us ?
