1 The mouth of the just is a vein of life: and the mouth of the wicked covereth iniquity.


1 Substance got in haste shall be diminished: but that which by little and little is gathered with the hand shall increase.


For know you this and understand, that no fornicator, or unclean, or covetous person (which is a serving of idols), hath inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.


A mild answer breaketh wrath: but a harsh word stirreth up fury.


The man that with a stiff neck despiseth him that reproveth him, shall suddenly be destroyed: and health shall not follow him.


8 Mercy and truth preserve the king, and his throne is strengthened by clemency.


A false witness shall not be unpunished: and he that speaketh lies, shall perish.


7 The just abhor the wicked man: and the wicked loathe them that are in the right way. The son that keepeth the word, shall be free from destruction.
