4 Cast in thy lot with us, let us all have one purse.


3 Offer sacrifice no more in vain: incense is an abomination tome. The new moons, and the sabbaths, and other festivals I will not abide, your assemblies are wicked.


2 He that hath found a good wife, hath found a good thing, and shall receive a pleasure from the Lord. He that driveth away a good wife, driveth away a good thing: but he that keepeth an adulteress, is foolish and wicked.


Do you not judge within yourselves, and are become judges of unjust thoughts?


1 For the house of Israel, and the house of Juda have greatly transgressed against me, saith the Lord.


Corrupt men bring a city to ruin: but wise men turn away wrath.


3 The wicked man taketh gifts out of the bosom, that he may pervert the paths of judgment.


8 The mind of the just studieth obedience: the mouth of the wicked over floweth with evils.


1 Folly is joy to the fool: and the wise man maketh straight his steps.


Unto the end, a psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came to him after he had sinned with Bethsabee. Have mercy on me, O God, according to thy great mercy. And according to the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my iniquity.


And if thy brother be not nigh, or thou know him not: thou shalt bring them to thy house, and they shall be with thee until thy brother seek them, and receive them.


3 His body shall not remain upon the tree, but shall be buried the same day: for he is accursed of God that hangeth on a tree: and thou shalt not defile thy land, which the Lord thy God shall give thee in possession.


4 And to Jesus the mediator of the new testament, and to the sprinkling of blood which speaketh better than that of Abel.


5 The just eateth and filleth his soul: but the belly of the wicked is never to be filled.


2 A corrupt man loveth not one that reproveth him: nor will he go to the wise.


Every proud man is an abomination to the Lord: though hand should be joined to hand, he is not innocent. The beginning of a good way is to do justice; and this is more acceptable with God, than to offer sacrifices.


When the ways of man shall please the Lord, he will convert even his enemies to peace.


2 For as wisdom is a defence, so money is a defence : but learning and wisdom excel in this, that they give life to him that possesseth them.


7 The Lord will make bald the crown of the head of the daughters of Sion, and the Lord will discover their hair.


4 That which the wicked feareth, shall come upon him: to the just their desire shall be given.


7 Cease not, O my son, to hear instruction, and be not ignorant of the words of knowledge.
