They have broken the eggs of asps, and have woven the webs of spiders: he that shall eat of their eggs, shall die: and that which is brought out, shall be hatched into a basilisk.


Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou be made like him.


4 Blessed are they that wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb: that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.


And night shall be no more: and they shall not need the light of the lamp, nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God shall enlighten them, and they shall reign for ever and ever.


And they shall shut the doors in the street, when the grinder's voice shall be low, and they shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of music shall grow deaf.


He that hath a mind to depart from a friend seeketh occasions: he shall ever be subject to reproach.


6 The prudent mall doth all things with counsel: but he that is a fool, layeth open his folly.


2 The enemy shall have no advantage over him: nor the son of iniquity have power to hurt him.


3 And after all that is come upon us, for our most wicked deeds, and our great sin, seeing that thou our God hast saved us from our iniquity, and hast given us a deliverance as at this day,


5 She is more precious than all riches : and all the things that are desired, are not to be compared with her.


Lay open thy works to the Lord: and thy thoughts shall be directed.


Every proud man is an abomination to the Lord: though hand should be joined to hand, he is not innocent. The beginning of a good way is to do justice; and this is more acceptable with God, than to offer sacrifices.


The sluggard willeth and willeth not: but the soul of them that work, shall be made fat.
