Lo thou trustest upon this broken staff of a reed, upon Egypt: upon which if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharao king or Egypt to all that trust in him.


9 You shall have a song as in the night of the sanctified solemnity, and joy of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe, to come into the mountain of the Lord, to the Mighty One of Israel.


2 The eyes of the Lord preserve knowledge: and the words of the unjust are overthrown.


0 When the wood faileth, the fire shall go out: and when the talebearer is taken away, contentions shall cease.


0 Behold I have described it to thee three manner of ways, in thoughts and knowledge :


6 By me princes rule, and the mighty decree justice.


Give them according to their works, and according to the wickedness of their inventions. According to the works of their hands give thou to them: render to them their reward.


3 Blessed is the man that findeth wisdom and is rich in prudence:


9 Consider my enemies for they are multiplied, and have hated me with an unjust hatred.


And my soul is troubled exceedingly: but thou, O Lord, how long?


CRY, cease not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their wicked doings, and the house of Jacob their sins.


5 The Lord will destroy the house of the proud: and will strengthen the borders of the widow.


7 He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house: but he that hateth bribes shall live. By mercy and faith sins are purged away: and by the fear of the Lord every one declineth from evil.


3 He winketh with the eyes, presseth with the foot, speaketh with the finger.


2 He that despiseth his friend, is mean of heart: but the wise man will hold his peace.
