8 A deceitful tongue loveth not truth: and a slippery mouth worketh ruin.


The victims of the wicked are abominable to the Lord: the vows of the just are acceptable.


7 Do not think that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets. I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.


I am the most foolish of men, and the wisdom of men is not with me.


A mild answer breaketh wrath: but a harsh word stirreth up fury.


1 If a serpent bite in silence, he is nothing better that backbiteth secretly.


A wise servant shall rule over foolish sons, and shall divide the inheritance among the brethren.
