A mild answer breaketh wrath: but a harsh word stirreth up fury.


I am the most foolish of men, and the wisdom of men is not with me.


My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with respect of persons.


6 Be not over just: and be not more wise than is necessary, lest thou become stupid.


5 The Lord will destroy the house of the proud: and will strengthen the borders of the widow.


And put a knife to thy throat, if it be so that thou have thy soul in thy own power.


Children's children are the crown of old men: and the glory of children are their fathers.


5 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high: and the desert shall be se a charmel, and charmel shall be counted for a forest.


3 A cautious man concealeth knowledge: and the heart of fools publisheth folly.


Better is the poor man that provideth for himself, than he that is glorious and wanteth bread.


5 Let not thy heart covet her beauty, be not caught with her winks:


1 And he said to him: As to the money which thou promisest, keep it for thyself: and as to the people, do with them as seemeth good to thee.

5 A faithful witness delivereth souls: and the double dealer uttereth lies.
