And round about the throne were four and twenty seats; and upon the seats, four and twenty ancients sitting, clothed in white garments, and on their heads were crowns of gold.


6 A fool immediately sheweth his anger: but he that dissembleth injuries is wise.


1 If the just man receive in the earth, how much more the wicked and the sinner.


Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of the flesh and of the spirit, perfecting sactification in the fear of God.


6 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man is corrupted, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.


Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.


4 What shall it profit, my brethren, if a man say he hath faith, but hath not works? Shall faith be able to save him?


9 And seek not you what you shall eat, or what you shall drink: and be not lifted up on high.


8 Poverty and shame to him that refuseth instruction: but he that yieldeth to reproof, shall be glorified.


8 And to the angel of the church of Thyatira write: These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like to a flame of fire, and his feet like to fine brass.


7 For this cause have I sent to you Timothy, who is my dearest son and faithful in the Lord; who will put you in mind of my ways, which are in Christ Jesus; as I teach every where in every church.


1 And Peter said to him: Lord, dost thou speak this parable to us, or likewise to all?


8 Now if God clothe in this manner the grass that is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more you, O ye of little faith?


5 Good instruction shall give grace: in the way of scorners is a deep pit.
