8 When prophecy shall fail, the people shall be scattered abroad: but he that keepeth the law is blessed.


My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with respect of persons.


9 In the multitude of words there shall not want sin: but he that refraineth his lips is most wise.


6 What doth it avail a fool to have riches, seeing he cannot buy wisdom? He that maketh his house high, seeketh a downfall: and he that refuseth to learn, shall fall into evils.


As a lame man hath fair legs in vain: so a parable is unseemly in the mouth of fools.


9 An unjust man allureth his friend: and leadeth him into a way that is not good


A fool laugheth at the instruction of his father: but he that regardeth reproofs shall become prudent. In abundant justice there is the greatest strength: but the devices of the wicked shall be rooted out.
