2 The just considereth seriously the house of the wicked, that he may withdraw the wicked from evil.


1 By his inclinations a child is known, if his works be clean and right.


2 A needy man is merciful: and better is the poor than the lying man.


1 Substance got in haste shall be diminished: but that which by little and little is gathered with the hand shall increase.


For a great door and evident is opened unto me: and many adversaries.


0 He that curseth his father, and mother, his lamp shall be put out in the midst of darkness.


As the roaring of a lion, so also is the dread of a king: he that provoketh him, sinneth against his own soul.


He that keepeth his mouth, keepeth his soul: but he that hath no guard on his speech shall meet with evils.


1 If the just man receive in the earth, how much more the wicked and the sinner.

As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones are joined together in the womb of her that is with child: so thou knowest not the works of God, who is the maker of all.


2 Hatred stirreth up strifes: and charity covereth all sins.


Justice keepeth the way of the innocent: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.


6 A man's gift enlargeth his may, and maketh him room before princes.


2 And behold the same day the servants of Isaac came, telling him of a well which they had digged, and saying: We have found water.
