2 I wisdom dwell in counsel, and am present in learned thoughts.


4 The depths were not as yet, and I was already conceived. neither had the fountains of waters as yet sprung out:


6 I will think of thy justifications: I will not forget thy words.

9 For my fruit is better than gold and the precious stone, and my blossoms than choice silver.


37 Thou art just, O Lord: and thy judgment is right.


5 These things speak, and exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.


Having an appearance indeed of godliness, but denying the power thereof. Now these avoid.


Lo thou trustest upon this broken staff of a reed, upon Egypt: upon which if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharao king or Egypt to all that trust in him.


8 Say not to thy friend: Go, and come again: and to morrow I will give to thee: when thou canst give at present.
