0 because the wicked shall perish. And the enemies of the Lord, presently after they shall be honoured and exalted, shall come to nothing and vanish like smoke.


1 Serve ye the Lord with fear: and rejoice unto him with trembling.


1 The mouth of the just shall bring forth wisdom: the tongue of the perverse shall perish.


2 Or else, whilst the other is yet afar off, sending an embassy, he desireth conditions of peace.


2 When thou walkest, let them go with thee: when thou sleepest, let them keep thee; and when thou awakest, talk with them.


There was at that time Jephte the Galaadite, a most valiant man and a warrior, the son of a woman that was a harlot, and his father was Galaad.


8 The Lord shall bring thee again with ships into Egypt, by the way whereof he said to thee that thou shouldst see it no more. There shalt thou be set to sale to thy enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.


5 They shall be scattered abroad to eat, and shall murmur if they be not filled.


Forsake her not, and she shall keep thee: love her, and she shall preserve thee.


5 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that is wise hearkeneth unto counsels.


The just that walketh in his simplicity, shall leave behind him blessed children.
