6 I have taken them instead of the firstborn that open every womb in Israel,


1 And the chief of the Hebronites was Jeria according to their families and kindreds. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were numbered, and there were found most valiant men in Jazer Galaad,


7 Out of the wars, and the spoils won in battles, which they had consecrated to the building and furniture of the temple of the Lord.


5 His brethren also, Eliezer, whose son Rohobia, and his son Isaias, and his son Joram, and his son Zechri, and his son Selemith.


5 And thirty-two thousand persons of the female sex, that had not known men.


7 And the pillars of the court round about with their sockets, and the pins with their cords.


Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings: and immolate them before the Lord, offering for the sacrifice of every one of them flour tempered with oil; for to day the Lord will appear to you.


3 For every firstborn is mine: since I struck the firstborn in the land of Egypt: I have sanctified to myself whatsoever is firstborn in Israel both of man and beast, they are mine: I am the Lord.


And the whole sum of the fighting men of his stock, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.
