4 By the hand of thy servants thou hast reproached the Lord: and hast said: With the multitude of my chariots I have gone up to the height of the mountains, to the top of Libanus: and I will out down its tall cedars, and its choice fir trees, end will enter to the top of its height, to the forest of its Carmel.


In the beginning God created heaven, and earth.


And they sung a new canticle, saying: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to take the book, and to open the seals thereof; because thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God, in thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation.


9 And do you therefore love strangers, because you also were strangers in the land of Egypt.


And thou shalt write them in the entry, and on the doors of thy house.


6 Part of it he burnt with fire, and with part of it he dressed his meat: he boiled pottage, and was filled, and was warmed, and said: Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire.


4 He hath cut down cedars, taken the holm, and the oak that stood among the trees of the forest: he hath planted the pine tree, which the rain hath nourished.


0 And Isaias the son of Amos sent to Ezechias, saying: Thus saith the Lord the God of Israel: I have heard the prayer thou hast made to me concerning Sennacherib king of the Assyrians.


So the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the furniture of them.


8 Remember not former things, and look not on things of old.


6 And he that sat on the cloud thrust his sickle into the earth, and the earth was reaped.


A psalm for David himself. Be not emulous of evildoers; nor envy them that work iniquity.


2 Then hear thou in heaven: and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, and bringing his way upon his own head, and justifying the just, and rewarding him according to his justice.


2 And as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: but thou art the selfsame, and thy years shall not fail.


Therefore ought we more diligently to observe the things which we have heard, lest perhaps we should let them slip.


8 I know thy dwelling, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me.


7 Shew me a token for good: that they who hate me may see, and be confounded, because thou, O Lord, hast helped me and hast comforted me.


4 I have cut down, and I have drunk strange waters, and have dried up with the soles of my feet all the shut up waters.


9 I am the Lord your God: walk ye in my statutes, and observe my judgments, and do them.


Who healeth the broken of heart, and bindeth up their bruises.


The deep like a garment is its clothing: above the mountains shall the waters stand.


3 The Lord hath looked from heaven: he hath beheld all the sons of men.


4 And Sedecias the son of Chanaana came, and struck Micheas on the cheek, and said: Hath then the spirit of the Lord left me, and spoken to thee?


8 But if I do, though you will not believe me, believe the works: that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.

The sins of my youth and my ignorances do not remember. According to thy mercy remember thou me: for thy goodness' sake, O Lord.

5 And sayest thou to me, O Lord God: Buy a field for money, and take witnesses, whereas the city is given into the hands of the Chaldeans?
