8 And Hiram sent him ships by the hands of his servants, and skilful mariners, and they went with Solomon's servants to Ophir, and they took thence four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought it to king Solomon.


Then Josue and his sons and his brethren, Cedmihel, and his sons, and the children of Juda, as one man, stood to hasten them that did the work in the temple of God: the sons of Henadad, and their sons, and their brethren the Levites.


2 By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the going out of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.


8 (To whom it was said: In Isaac shall thy seed be called.)


For every high priest taken from among men, is ordained for men in the things that appertain to God, that he may offer up gifts and sacrifices for sins:


2 They said therefore unto him: Who art thou, that we may give an answer to them that sent us? What sayest thou of thyself?


3 And there he was wounded by the archers, and he said to his servants: Carry me out of the battle, for I am grievously wounded.


He commanded also the people that dwelt in Jerusalem, to give to the priests, and the Levites their portion, that they might attend to the law of the Lord.


7 And the days that he reigned over Israel, were forty years: in Hebron he reigned seven years, and in Jerusalem three and thirty years.


Take courage, and be strong: for thou shalt divide by lot to this people the land, for which I swore to their fathers, that I would deliver it to them.


0 Thou shalt follow justly after that which is just: that thou mayst live and possess the land, which the Lord thy God shall give thee.
