13 8 And there was prepared for me day by day one ox, and six choice rams, be- sides fowls, and once in ten days I gave store of divers wines, and many other things: yet I did not require my yearly allowance as governor: for the people were very much impoverished.

7 And when she hath drunk them, if she be defiled, and having despised her husband be guilty of adultery, the malediction shall go through her, and her belly swelling, her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse, and an example to all the people.


5 The secrets of his heart are made manifest; and so, falling down on his face, he will adore God, affirming that God is among you indeed.


1 The rich man seemeth to himself wise: but the poor man that is prudent shall search him out.
