And their names were Oolla the elder, and Ooliba her younger sister: and I took them, and they bore sons and daughters. Now for their names, Samaria is Oolla, and Jerusalem is Ooliba.


1 The rich man seemeth to himself wise: but the poor man that is prudent shall search him out.


Turn back the evils upon my enemies; and cut them off in thy truth.


7 To no man rendering evil for evil. Providing good things, not only in the sight of God, but also in the sight of all men.


3 And looking-glasses, and lawns, and headbands, and fine veils.


Let the fear of the Lord be with you, and do all things with diligence: for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, a nor respect of persons, nor desire of gifts.


5 Now there was not such another as Achab, who was sold to do evil in the sight of the Lord: for his wife Jezabel set him on,


2 And all that will live godly in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution.


But to them that are contentious, and who obey not the truth, but give credit to iniquity, wrath and indignation.


When Pilate therefore had heard this saying, he feared the more.


5 And the Jews wondered, saying: How doth this man know letters, having never learned?


2 He saith to him: Out of thy own mouth I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up what I laid not down, and reaping that which I did not sow:


1 In that day thou shalt not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee thy proud boasters, and thou shalt no more be lifted up because of my holy mountain.


1 For thus saith the Lord God: Behold I myself will seek my sheep, and will visit them.


The lines are fallen unto me in goodly places: for my inheritance is goodly to me.


0 But the wicked are like the raging sea, which cannot rest, and the waves thereof cast up dirt and mire.


5 Son of man, thy brethren, thy brethren, thy kinsmen, and all the house of Israel, all they to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said: Get ye far from the Lord, the land is given in possession to us.


2 Great pains have been taken, and the great rust thereof is not gone out, not even by fire.


Who have eaten the flesh of my people, and have flayed their skin from off them: and have broken, and chopped their bones as for the kettle, and as flesh in the midst of the pot.


0 And my enemy shall behold, and she shall be covered with shame, who saith to me: Where is the Lord thy God? My eyes shall look down upon her: now shall she be trodden under foot as the mire of the streets.


1 The day shall come, that thy walls may be built up: in that day shall the law be far removed.


8 Their arrows are sharp, and all their bows are bent. The hoofs of their horses shall be like the hint, and their wheels like the violence of a tempest.


I struck you with a burning wind, and with mildew, the palmerworm hath eaten up your many gardens, and your vineyards: your olive groves, and fig groves: yet you returned not to me, saith the Lord.


3 Take away from me the tumult of thy songs: and I will not hear the canticles of thy harp.
