WHEN Jesus therefore understood that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus maketh more disciples, and baptizeth more than John,


1 Having the glory of God, and the light thereof was like to a precious stone, as to the jasper stone, even as crystal.


They therefore being brought on their way by the church, passed through Phenice, and Samaria, relating the conversion of the Gentiles; and they caused great joy to all the brethren.


4 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the believing wife; and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the believing husband: otherwise your children should be unclean; but now they are holy.


4 He shall glorify me; because he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it to you.

And I know such a man (whether in the body, or out of the body, I know not: God knoweth):


2 But Jesus turning and seeing her, said: Be of good heart, daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.


4 He said: Give place, for the girl is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.


7 And he said to them: The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.


8 Therefore the Son of man is Lord of the sabbath also.


And Jesus answering them, said: Have you not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was hungry, and they that were with him:


How he went into the house of God, and took and ate the bread of proposition, and gave to them that were with him, which is not lawful to eat but only for the priests?


0 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man shall be revealed.
