5 And he said to them: Have you never read what David did when he had need, and was hungry himself, and they that were with him?


8 And the second came, saying: Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.


They have made the king glad with their wickedness: and the princes with their lies.


AND it came to pass on the second first sabbath, that as he went through the corn fields, his disciples plucked the ears, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.


5 But Jesus knowing it, retired from thence: and many followed him, and he healed them all.


0 The soul of the wicked desireth evil, he will not have pity on his neighbour.


8 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and unto the day of eternity. Amen.


AND as they were speaking to the people, the priests, and the officer of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,


6 And they conversed there in the church a whole year; and they taught a great multitude, so that at Antioch the disciples were first named Christians.


0 For now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that doth not yield good fruit, shall be cut down, and cast into the fire.


9 But if it be of God, you cannot overthrow it, lest perhaps you be found even to fight against God. And they consented to him.

5 And much people followed him from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judea, and from beyond the Jordan.


6 And continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they took their meat with gladness and simplicity of heart;


6 And Jesus being baptized, forthwith came out of the water: and lo, the heavens were opened to him: and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him.


9 I know that, after my departure, ravening wolves will enter in among you, not sparing the flock.


Again he sent other servants, saying: Tell them that were invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my beeves and fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come ye to the marriage.


1 But he said to them: What man shall there be among you, that hath one sheep: and if the same fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not take hold on it and lift it up?


4 And Jesus seeing that he had answered wisely, said to him: Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.


2 But all things whatsoever John said of this man, were true. And many believed in him.


2 For there are eunuchs, who were born so from their mother's womb: and there are eunuchs, who were made so by men: and there are eunuchs, who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven. He that can take, let him take it.


3 Then he saith to the man: Stretch forth thy hand; and he stretched it forth, and it was restored to health even as the other.


4 And going up to him, bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine: and setting him upon his own beast, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.


1 And Jesus sitting over against the treasury, beheld how the people cast money into the treasury, and many that were rich cast in much.


9 And no man drinking old, hath presently a mind to new: for he saith, The old is better.
