And to Appia, our dearest sister, and to Archippus, our fellow soldier, and to the church which is in thy house:


But if any of you want wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men abundantly, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.


Wherefore though I have much confidence in Christ Jesus, to command thee that which is to the purpose:


0 A man that is a heretic, after the first and second admonition, avoid:


It is a faithful saying: and these things I will have thee affirm constantly: that they, who believe in God, may be careful to excel in good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.


Exhort servants to be obedient to their masters, in all things pleasing, not gainsaying:


Traitors, stubborn, puffed up, and lovers of pleasures more than of God:


9 Against a priest receive not an accusation, but under two or three witnesses.


0 And let these also first be proved: and so let them minister, having no crime.


Not as if we had not power: but that we might give ourselves a pattern unto you, to imitate us.


9 Because in him, it hath well pleased the Father, that all fullness should dwell;


9 Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners; but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and the domestics of God,


Which hath superabounded in us in all wisdom and prudence,


1 Envies, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like. Of the which I foretell you, as I have foretold to you, that they who do such things shall not obtain the kingdom of God.


6 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, immediately I condescended not to flesh and blood.


But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present, with that confidence wherewith I am thought to be bold, against some, who reckon us as if we walked according to the flesh.


4 And whithersoever he shall go in, say to the master of the house, The master saith, Where is my refectory, where I may eat the pasch with my disciples?


2 Your remembrance shall be compared to ashes, and your necks shall be brought to clay.


But the fish gate the sons of Asnaa built: they covered it, and set up the doors thereof, and tire locks, and the bars. And next to them built Marimuth the son of Urias the son of Accus.


1 For unto this are you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example that you should follow his steps.


7 And on the first day of the Azymes, the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the pasch?


9 And the disciples did as Jesus appointed to them, and they prepared the pasch.


THEN calling together the twelve apostles, he gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
