1 They say to him: Caesar's. Then he saith to them: Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God, the things that are God's.


8 And he wrought not many miracles there, because of their unbelief.


2 And some indeed reprove, being judged:


Wherefore though I have much confidence in Christ Jesus, to command thee that which is to the purpose:


4 You are my friends, if you do the things that I command you.


AND it came to pass, when Jesus went into the house of one of the chief of the Pharisees, on the sabbath day, to eat bread, that they watched him.


And the foolish said to the wise: Give us of your oil, for our lamps are gone out.


0 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.


7 And he measured the wall thereof an hundred and forty-four cubits, the measure of a man, which is of an angel.


Saying: Where is his promise or his coming? for since the time that the fathers slept, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.


1 You have heard that it was said to them of old: Thou shalt not kill. And whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment.


THEN Jesus was led by the spirit into the desert, to be tempted by the devil.


Raising up the needy from the earth, and lifting up the poor out of the dunghill::
