8 And he beheaded him in the prison, and brought his head in a dish: and gave it to the damsel, and the damsel gave it to her mother.


3 I am come in the name of my Father, and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive.


Then he saith to his servants: The marriage indeed is ready; but they that were invited were not worthy.


3 Which when Jesus had heard, he retired from thence by boat, into a desert place apart, and the multitudes having heard of it, followed him on foot out of the cities.


7 Who crying to their companions say: We have piped to you, and you have not danced: we have lamented, and you have not mourned.


4 But one in the council rising up, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, respected by all the people, commanded the men to be put forth a little while.


0 The man answered, and said to them: Why, herein is a wonderful thing, that you know not from whence he is, and he hath opened my eyes.


0 And he said to them: Behold, as you go into the city, there shall meet you a man carrying a pitcher of water: follow him into the house where he entereth in.


7 And there came to him some of the Sadducees, who deny that there is any resurrection, and they asked him,


4 Whom when the husbandmen saw, they thought within themselves, saying: This is the heir, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.


0 Now there were seven brethren; and the first took a wife, and died leaving no issue.


But the husbandmen said one to another: This is the heir; come let us kill him; and the inheritance shall be ours.


9 I created the fruit of the lips, peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, said the Lord, and I healed him.


9 And seeing a certain fig tree by the way side, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves only, and he saith to it: May no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And immediately the fig tree withered away.


3 Hear ye another parable. There was a man an householder, who planted a vineyard, and made a hedge round about it, and dug in it a press, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen; and went into a strange country.


5 And the husbandmen laying hands on his servants, beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.
