7 Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour. But for this cause I came unto this hour.


For the poor you have always with you; but me you have not always.

And he began to speak to the people this parable: A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it out to husbandmen: and he was abroad for a long time.


6 But if you will not forgive, neither will your Father that is in heaven, forgive you your sins.


8 And stripping him, they put a scarlet cloak about him.


Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremias the prophet, saying: And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was prized, whom they prized of the children of Israel.


7 Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him: and others struck his face with the palms of their hands,


1 For the poor you have always with you: but me you have not always.


For they bind heavy and insupportable burdens, and lay them on men's shoulders; but with a finger of their own they will not move them.


1 Which of the two did the father's will? They say to him: The first. Jesus saith to them: Amen I say to you, that the publicans and the harlots shall go into the kingdom of God before you.


5 And Jesus went about all the cities, and towns, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease, and every infirmity.


9 Thy dead men shall live, my slain shall rise again: awake, and give praise, ye that dwell in the dust: for thy dew is the dew of the light: and the land of the giants thou shalt pull down into ruin.


2 And Jesus stood, and called them, and said: What will ye that I do to you?
