8 And he said to them: Why are you troubled, and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

3 But the centurion, willing to save Paul, forbade it to be done; and he commanded that they who could swim, should cast themselves first into the sea, and save themselves, and get to land.


9 But they seeing him walking upon the sea, thought it was an apparition, and they cried out.


3 Wherefore, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.


5 For if, because of thy meat, thy brother be grieved, thou walkest not now according to charity. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.


Masters, do to your servants that which is just and equal: knowing that you also have a master in heaven.


5 Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, eat; asking no question for conscience' sake.


2 Saying: The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the ancients and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day rise again.


And he asked them: How many loaves have ye? Who said: Seven.

4 For whosoever will save his life, shall lose it; for he that shall lose his life for my sake, shall save it.


6 And they seeing him walk upon the sea, were troubled, saying: It is an apparition. And they cried out for fear.


5 And he said to them: The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and they that have power over them, are called beneficent.
