Therefore, neither he that planteth is any thing, nor he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.


9 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.


4 But every man is tempted by his own concupiscence, being drawn away and allured.


Little children, let no man deceive you. He that doth justice is just, even as he is just.


9 If you know, that he is just, know ye, that every one also, who doth justice, is born of him.


5 For he that will save his life, shall lose it: and he that shall lose his life for my sake, shall find it.


8 The eyes of your heart enlightened, that you may know what the hope is of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.


Lo thou trustest upon this broken staff of a reed, upon Egypt: upon which if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharao king or Egypt to all that trust in him.


Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man shall do, the same shall he receive from the Lord, whether he be bond, or free.


So that nothing is wanting to you in any grace, waiting for the manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ.


8 Take heed therefore how you hear. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given: and whosoever hath not, that also which he thinketh he hath, shall be taken away from him.


On the first day of the week let every one of you put apart with himself, laying up what it shall well please him; that when I come, the collections be not then to be made.


6 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that we may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.


Now the Jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand.


Speaking lies in hypocrisy, and having their conscience seared,


1 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child. But, when I became a man, I put away the things of a child.


9 And the cares of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts after other things entering in choke the word, and it is made fruitless.

6 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me, as I also am of Christ.

But God, (who is rich in mercy,) for his exceeding charity wherewith he loved us,


8 And in that day the deaf shall hear the words of the book, and out of darkness and obscurity the eyes of the blind shall see.


2 And the people ran together against them; and the magistrates rending off their clothes, commanded them to be beaten with rods.


9 And the meek shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.


8 Hear you therefore the parable of the sower.


1 And the multitude rebuked them that they should hold their peace. But they cried out the more, saying: O Lord, thou son of David, have mercy on us.


8 And many rebuked him, that he might hold his peace; but he cried a great deal the more: Son of David, have mercy on me.


3 O the depth of the riches of the wisdom and of the knowledge of God! How incomprehensible are his judgments, and how unsearchable his ways!
