1 Even the very dust of your city that cleaveth to us, we wipe off against you. Yet know this, that the kingdom of God is at hand.


4 And I trust in the Lord, that I myself also shall come to you shortly.


9 And let the prophets speak, two or three; and let the rest judge.


4 Luke, the most dear physician, saluteth you: and Demas.


3 But woe to them that are with child, and give suck in those days; for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.


7 And there was much weeping among them all; and falling on the neck of Paul, they kissed him,


2 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off the occasion from them that desire occasion, that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.


We are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you towards each other, aboundeth:


3 They are the ministers of Christ (I speak as one less wise): I am more; in many more labours, in prisons more frequently, in stripes above measure, in deaths often.


Now the serpent was more subtle than any of the beasts of the earth which the Lord God made. And he said to the woman: Why hath God commanded you, that you should not eat of every tree of paradise?


9 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of glory? Are not you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?


8 And he is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he may hold the primacy:


1 Now he that confirmeth us with you in Christ, and that hath anointed us, is God:


Therefore I thought it necessary to desire the brethren that they would go to you before, and prepare this blessing before promised, to be ready, so as a blessing, not as covetousness.


3 And the Lord God said to the woman: Why hast thou done this? And she answered: The serpent deceived me, and I did eat.


But ten men were found among them, that said to Ismahel : Kill us not: for we have stores in the field, of wheat, and barley, and oil, and honey. And he forbore, and slew them not with their brethren.


Israel hath cast off the thing that is good, the enemy shall pursue him.


3 So you also, when you shall see all these things, know ye that it is nigh, even at the doors.


And five of them were foolish, and five wise.


0 Now whilst they went to buy, the bridegroom came: and they that were ready, went in with him to the marriage, and the door was shut.


2 But he answering said: Amen I say to you, I know you not.


7 And in like manner he that had received the two, gained other two.


8 For every one of the builders was girded with a sword about his reins. And they built, and sounded with a trumpet by me.
