They that are vain observe vanities, forsake their own mercy.

9 O praise ye the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.


4 And Samuel said to all the people: Surely you see him whom the Lord hath chosen, that there is none like him among all the people. And all the people cried and said: God save the king.


2 And he will appoint of them to be his tribunes, and centurions, and to plough his fields, and to reap his corn, and to make him arms and chariots.


He cometh therefore to Simon Peter. And Peter saith to him: Lord, dost thou wash my feet?


And the angel answering, said to the women: Fear not you; for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.
