8 And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples also were with him: and he asked them, saying: Whom do the people say that I am?

2 And the Son of man indeed goeth, according to that which is determined: but yet, woe to that man by whom he shall be betrayed.


3 And lifted up their voice, saying: Jesus, master, have mercy on us.


5 And behold a certain lawyer stood up, tempting him, and saying, Master, what must I do to possess eternal life?


And how have we heard, every man our own tongue wherein we were born?


8 And the one of them, whose name was Cleophas, answering, said to him: Art thou only a stranger to Jerusalem, and hast not known the things that have been done there in these days?


1 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for you shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for you shall laugh.


2 And the scribes who were come down from Jerusalem, said: He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of devils he casteth out devils.


7 And he answering said to them: Give you them to eat. And they said to him: Let us go and buy bread for two hundred pence, and we will give them to eat.


6 And the servant told Isaac all that he had done.
