4 And the desolate land shall be tilled, which before was waste in the sight of all that passed by,


1 Who answering, said to them: My mother and my brethren are they who hear the word of God, and do it.


4 And that which fell among thorns, are they who have heard, and going their way, are choked with the cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and yield no fruit.


The Lord had pity upon this. Yea this also shall not be, said the Lord God.


Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a provoking house: who have eyes to see, and see not: and ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a provoking house.


8 And he said to them: An enemy hath done this. And the servants said to him: Wilt thou that we go and gather it up?


He shall not return into the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be his king: because they would not be converted.


2 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand: lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.


4 He that soweth, soweth the word.
