4 And if Christ be not risen again, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.


And in the sight of the throne was, as it were, a sea of glass like to crystal; and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four living creatures, full of eyes before and behind.


But when the morning was come, Jesus stood on the shore: yet the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.


8 Come to me, all you that labour, and are burdened, and I will refresh you.


3 And rising up, the same hour, they went back to Jerusalem: and they found the eleven gathered together, and those that were staying with them,


6 For the woman was a Gentile, a Syrophenician born. And she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.


AT that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Who thinkest thou is the greater in the kingdom of heaven?


6 He could not bring the people into the land for which he had sworn, therefore did he kill them in the wilderness.


And there went out to him all the country of Judea, and all they of Jerusalem, and were baptized by him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.


9 To whom he said: What things? And they said: Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet, mighty in work and word before God and all the people;


There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas, who is called Didymus, and Nathanael, who was of Cana of Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples.


Simon Peter saith to them: I go a fishing. They say to him: We also come with thee. And they went forth, and entered into the ship: and that night they caught nothing.


As soon then as they came to land, they saw hot coals lying, and a fish laid thereon, and bread.


2 Jesus saith to him: So I will have him to remain till I come, what is it to thee? follow thou me.


1 Who also said: Ye men of Galilee, why stand you looking up to heaven? This Jesus who is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come, as you have seen him going into heaven.
