5 And blessed art thou that hast believed, because those things shall be accomplished that were spoken to thee by the Lord.


5 Now it came to pass, when he drew nigh to Jericho, that a certain blind man sat by the way side, begging.


8 By faith he celebrated the pasch, and the shedding of the blood; that he, who destroyed the firstborn, might not touch them.


The things which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, these do ye, and the God of peace shall be with you.


4 For thus saith the Lord of hosts: As I purposed to afflict you, when your fathers had provoked me to wrath, saith the Lord,


Wherefore they arose, and fled away in the dark, and left their tents, and their horses and asses in the camp, and fled, desiring to save their lives.


But now he hath obtained a better ministry, by how much also he is a mediator of a better testament, which is established on better promises.


3 And they said: It is the blood of the sword: the kings have fought among themselves, and they have killed one another: go now, Moab, to the spoils.


4 And they shall mock him, and spit on him, and scourge him, and kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.
