4 Jesus answered, and said to them: Although I give testimony of myself, my testimony is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go: but you know not whence I come, or whither I go.


1 And whosoever shall swear by temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth in it:


8 Behold Israel according to the flesh: are not they, that eat of the sacrifices, partakers of the altar ?


For the poor you have always with you; but me you have not always.

2 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom. And the rich man also died: and he was buried in hell.


7 Woe to you who build the monuments of the prophets: and your fathers killed them.


8 And standing behind at his feet, she began to wash his feet, with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

3 He saith to them: How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying:


1 Who said to them: All men take not this word, but they to whom it is given.


Do you not yet understand, neither do you remember the five loaves among five thousand men, and how many baskets you took up?


0 These are the things that defile a man. But to eat with unwashed hands doth not defile a man.

For from the days of your fathers you have departed from my ordinances, and have not kept them: Return to me, and I will return to you, saith the Lord of hosts. And you have said: Wherein shall we return?


What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.


1 And he saith to them: Whosoever shall put away his wife and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
