And whereas indeed he was the Son of God, he learned obedience by the things which he suffered:


Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation; in the day of temptation in the desert,


2 And they all did eat, and had their fill.


2 And as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: but thou art the selfsame, and thy years shall not fail.


And he wondered because of their unbelief, and he went through the villages round about teaching.


And seeing Jesus afar off, he ran and adored him.


And God said: Be light made. And light was made.


6 The king is not saved by a great army: nor shall the giant be saved by his own great strength.


And they came to him, bringing one sick of the palsy, who was carried by four.


And when Jesus had seen their faith, he saith to the sick of the palsy: Son, thy sins are forgiven thee.
