Remember you not, that when I was yet with you, I told you these things?


6 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are certain things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.

8 And they shall gird themselves with haircloth, and fear shall cover them, and shame shall be upon every face, and baldness upon all their heads.


0 Fear not, for I am with thee: turn not aside, for I am thy God: I have strengthened thee, and have helped thee, and the right hand of my just one hath upheld thee.


LET the islands keep silence before me, and the nations take new strength: let them come near, and then speak, let us come near to judgment together.


26 It is time, O Lord, to do: they have dissipated thy law.


1 And as you would that men should do to you, do you also to them in like manner.


Woe to the Assyrian, he is the rod and the staff of my anger, and my indignation is in their hands.


I will send him to a deceitful nation, and I will give him a charge against the people of my wrath, to take away the spoils, and to lay hold on the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.


6 Son of man, set thy face against the way of the south, and drop towards the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field.


Thou hast despised my sanctuaries, and profaned my sabbaths.


9 And the people said to me: Why dost thou not tell us what these things mean that thou doest?


5 And I will make a covenant of peace with them, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they that dwell in the wilderness shall sleep secure in the forests.


1 And I will rebuke for your sakes the devourer, and he shall not spoil the fruit of your land: neither shall the vine in the field be barren, saith the Lord of hosts.


6 Better is a little to the just, than the great riches of the wicked.
