And he said to me: It is done. I am Alpha and Omega; the beginning and the end. To him that thirsteth, I will give of the fountain of the water of life, freely.


I will cry to God the most High; to God who hath done good to me.


And Aram begot Aminadab. And Aminadab begot Naasson. And Naasson begot Salmon.


And I heard the angel of the waters saying: Thou art just, O Lord, who art, and who wast, the Holy One, because thou hast judged these things:


3 And on the one hand indeed, by reproaches and tribulations, were made a gazingstock; and on the other, became companions of them that were used in such sort.


3 Your words have been unsufferable to me, saith the Lord.


9 And Peter rising up, went with them. And when he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber. And all the widows stood about him weeping, and shewing him the coats and garments which Dorcas made them.

4 Behold my servants shall rejoice, and you shall be confounded: behold my servants shall praise for joyfulness of heart, and you shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for grief of spirit.


Hearken to me, you that know what is just, my people who have my law in your heart: fear ye not the reproach of men, and be not afraid of their blasphemies.


6 Lord, they have sought after thee in distress, in the tribulation of murmuring thy instruction was with them.


He that walketh in the right way, and feareth God, Cis despised by him that goeth by an infamous way.


8 He shall send out his word, and shall melt them: his wind shall blow, and the waters shall run.


1 And I said: Perhaps darkness shall cover me: and night shall be my light in my pleasures.


0 Their heart is curdled like milk: but I have meditated on thy law.


The just shall be in everlasting remembrance: he shall not hear the evil hearing. His heart is ready to hope in the Lord:


For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.


Let people confess to thee, O God: let all people give praise to thee.


O magnify the Lord with me; and let us extol his name together.


His glory is great in thy salvation: glory and great beauty shalt thou lay upon him.


0 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; nor wilt then give thy holy one to see corruption.


1 For he hath said in his heart: God hath forgotten, he hath turned away his face not to see to the end.


When the Almighty was with me: and my servants round about me?


Now when Aman had heard this, and had proved by experience that Mardochai did not bend his knee to him, nor worship him, he was exceeding angry.


2 And he stood before the altar of the I Lord, in presence of all the multitude of Israel, and stretched forth his hands.


7 And when he had seen him, he said: Art thou he that troublest Israel?


Whereas I have not dwelt in a house from the day that I brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt even to this day: but have walked in a tabernacle, and in a tent.


4 And to Jesus the mediator of the new testament, and to the sprinkling of blood which speaketh better than that of Abel.


For we, who have believed, shall enter into rest; as he said: As I have sworn in my wrath; If they shall enter into my rest; and this indeed when the works from the foundation of the world were finished.


3 And may the God of peace himself sanctify you in all things; that your whole spirit, and soul, and body, may be preserved blameless in the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.


Remember his marvellous works which he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth.


And he answered: I am. Go, and tell thy master: Elias is here.


2 And he said to him: Lay not thy hand upon the boy, neither do thou any thing to him: now I know that thou fearest God, and hast not spared thy only begotten son for my sake.

4 Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the fenced city, and let us be silent there: for the Lord our God hath put us to silence, and hath given us water of gall to drink: for we have sinned against the Lord.


6 Upon this I was as it were awaked out of a sleep, and I saw, and my sleep was sweet to me.


And he said: Go, Daniel, because the words are shut up, and sealed until the appointed time.


And I said to the king: If it seem good to the king, and if thy servant hath found favour in thy sight, that thou wouldst send me into Judea to the city of the sepulchre of my father, and I will build it.


He hath sent from heaven and delivered me: he hath made them a reproach that trod upon me. God hath sent his mercy and his truth,


Because he hath inclined his ear unto me: and in my days I will call upon him.
