7 Why hast thou made us to err, O Lord, from thy ways: why hast thou hardened our heart, that we should not fear thee? return for the sake of thy servants, the tribes of thy inheritance.


2 So that even there were brought from his body to the sick, handkerchiefs and aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the wicked spirits went out of them.


5 Did not one make her, and she is the residue of his spirit? And what doth one seek, but the seed of God? Keep then your spirit, and despise not the wife of thy youth.


3 And my angel shall go before thee, and shall bring thee in unto the Amorrhite, and the Hethite, and the Pherezite, and the Chanaanite, and the Hevite, and the Jebusite, whom I will destroy.


And they answered, that they knew not whence it was.


I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; in the council of the just: and in the congregation.


6 Who found grace before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.


4 And the Lord shall destroy out of Israel the head and the tail, him that bendeth down, and him that holdeth back, in one day.


2 And for the abundance of milk he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that shall be left in the midst of the land.


Under the high priests Annas and Caiphas; the word of the Lord was made unto John, the son of Zachary, in the desert.


6 And it came to pass, that, after three days, they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, hearing them, and asking them questions.

2 But I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment, than for you.


For thus saith the Lord of hosts: Yet one little while, and I will move the heaven and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land.


2 The Lord will cut off the man that hath done this, both the master, and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering to the Lord of hosts.


4 Thou shalt not adore their gods, nor serve them. Thou shalt not do their works, but shalt destroy them, and break their statues.


8 To whom then have you likened God? or what image will you make for him?
