And in the sight of the throne was, as it were, a sea of glass like to crystal; and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four living creatures, full of eyes before and behind.


8 Because Christ also died once for our sins, the just for the unjust: that he might offer us to God, being put to death indeed in the flesh, but enlivened in the spirit,


He withholdeth the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud over it.


9 And the chief priests and the whole council sought false witness against Jesus, that they might put him to death:


9 And forthwith coming to Jesus, he said: Hail, Rabbi. And he kissed him.


1 Watch ye, and pray that ye enter not into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh weak.


And behold there appeared to them Moses and Elias talking with him.


7 Be not thou a terror unto me, thou art my hope in the day of affliction.


5 To call them that pass by the way, and go on their journey:


3 And he had seven sons, and three daughters.


7 Moreover he hath also accused me thy servant to thee, my lord the king: but thou my lord the king art as an angel of God, do what pleaseth thee.


From whence are wars and contentions among you? Are they not hence, from your concupiscences, which war in your members?


7 Then some of the disciples said one to another: What is this that he saith to us: A little while, and you shall not see me; and again a little while, and you shall see me, and, because I go to the Father?


2 Jesus said to him: No man putting his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.


And he said to them: The harvest indeed is great, but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send labourers into his harvest.
