7 But Jesus seeing the thoughts of their heart, took a child and set him by him,


8 And when he was come into the house, his disciples secretly asked him: Why could not we cast him out?


1 But he said: Bring some meal. And when they had brought it, he cast it into the pot, and said: Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was now no bitterness in the pot.


He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side. He will tell thee what thou must do.


For when Jezabel killed the prophets of the Lord, he took a hundred prophets and hid them by fifty and fifty in caves, and fed them with bread and water.


9 And John, answering, said: Master, we saw a certain man casting out devils in thy name, and we forbade him, because he followeth not with us.


1 And it came to pass, when the days of his assumption were accomplishing, that he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem.


7 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that which endureth unto life everlasting, which the Son of man will give you. For him hath God, the Father, sealed.
