AFTER these things was a festival day of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.


0 And when the men were come unto him, they said: John the Baptist hath sent us to thee, saying: Art thou he that art to come; or look we for another?


And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be confounded, every one by his own vision, when he shall prophesy, neither shall they be clad with a garment of sackcloth, to deceive :


0 And there came to him great multitudes, having with them the dumb, the blind, the lame, the maimed, and many others: and they cast them down at his feet, and he healed them:


1 And thou saidst to thy servants: Bring him hither to me, and I will set my eyes on him.


5 But they understood not this word; and it was hid from them, so that they perceived it not. And they were afraid to ask him concerning this word.


7 But Jesus seeing the thoughts of their heart, took a child and set him by him,
