1 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruits of them.


Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl in your miseries, which shall come upon you.


0 The poor man shall be hateful even to his own neighbour: but the friends of the rich are many.


And round about the throne were four and twenty seats; and upon the seats, four and twenty ancients sitting, clothed in white garments, and on their heads were crowns of gold.


2 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them who labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you:


3 But all things that are reproved, are made manifest by the light; for all that is made manifest is light.


AND it came to pass, when Jesus went into the house of one of the chief of the Pharisees, on the sabbath day, to eat bread, that they watched him.


8 Now if God clothe in this manner the grass that is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more you, O ye of little faith?


And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off even the dust of your feet, for a testimony against them.


The shield of his mighty men is like fire, the men of the army are clad in scarlet, the reins of the chariot are flaming in the day of his preparation, and the drivers are stupefied.


And if they go into captivity before their enemies, there will I command the sword, and it shall kill them. And I will set my eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.


5 For you have said : We have entered into a league with death, and we have made a covenant with hell. When the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come upon us: for we have placed our hope in lies, and by falsehood we are protected.


But he shall not take it so, and his heart shall not think so: but his heart shall be set to destroy, and to cut off nations not a few.


His empire shall be multiplied, and there shall be no end of peace: he shall sit upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom; to establish it and strengthen it with judgment and with justice, from henceforth and for ever: the zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.


3 Consider the works of God, that no man can correct whom he hath despised.


0 Say not: What thinkest thou is the cause that former times were better than they are now? for this manner of question is foolish.


And I surpassed in riches all that were before me in Jerusalem: my wisdom also remained with me.


6 Hell, and the mouth of the womb, and the earth which is not satisfied with water: and the fire never saith: It is enough.


And the heavens shall declare his justice: for God is judge.


0 The adversaries of the Lord shall fear him: and upon them shall he thunder in the heavens. The Lord shall judge the ends of the earth, and he shall give empire to his king, and shall exalt the horn of his Christ.


2 And if you love them that love you, what thanks are to you? for sinners also love those that love them.


4 And if you lend to them of whom you hope to receive, what thanks are to you? for sinners also lend to sinners, for to receive as much.
