3 Jesus therefore answered, and said to them: Murmur not among yourselves.


4 You are the light of the world. A city seated on a mountain cannot be hid.


1 Wherefore casting away all uncleanness, and abundance of naughtiness, with meekness receive the ingrafted word, which is able to save your souls.


1 And they said to her: There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name.


2 Be glad and rejoice, for your reward is very great in heaven. For so they persecuted the prophets that were before you.


And the second angel sounded the trumpet: and as it were a great mountain, burning with fire, was cast into the sea, and the third part of the sea became blood:


3 And if you do good to them who do good to you, what thanks are to you? for sinners also do this.


0 For the kingdom of God is not in speech, but in power.


8 For thou hast had five husbands: and he whom thou now hast, is not thy husband. This thou hast said truly.


7 And here is hope for thy last end, saith the Lord: and the children shall return to their own borders.


7 Behold the name of the Lord cometh from afar, his wrath burneth, and is heavy to bear: his lips are filled with indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire.


6 Because he hath broken gates of brass, and burst the iron bars.


The earth shook and trembled: the foundations of the mountains were troubled and were moved, because he was angry with them.


And Sara said: God hath made a laughter for me: whosoever shall hear of it will laugh with me.


7 Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, saying in his heart: Shall a son, thinkest thou, be born to him that is a hundred years old? and shall Sara that is ninety years old bring forth?


2 And it had a wall great and high, having twelve gates, and in the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.


9 Of old, think you that we excuse ourselves to you? We speak before God in Christ; but all things, my dearly beloved, for your edification.


And I know such a man (whether in the body, or out of the body, I know not: God knoweth):


Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of the flesh and of the spirit, perfecting sactification in the fear of God.


3 When he had said these things, he cried with a loud voice: Lazarus, come forth.


And saw and behold in the firmament that was over the heads of the cherubims, there appeared over them as it were the sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.


4 And I will bring the worse of the nations, and they shall possess their houses: and I will make the pride of the mighty to cease, and they shall possess their sanctuary.


3 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel, after those days, saith the Lord: I will give my law in their bowels, and I will write it in their heart: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.


5 This is thy lot, and the portion of thy measure from me, saith the Lord, because thou hast forgotten me, and hast trusted in falsehood.


Shall I not visit them for these things, saith the Lord? or shall not my soul be revenged on such a nation?


8 But I know their works, and their thoughts: I come that I may gather them together with all nations and tongues: and they shall come and shall see my glory.


Open ye the gates, and let the just nation, that keepeth the truth, enter in.


Blessed be the Lord my God, who teacheth my hands to fight, and my fingers to war.


43 Trouble and anguish have found me: thy commandments are my meditation.


1 Thou shalt bless the crown of the year of thy goodness: and thy fields shall be filled with plenty.


The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord shall break the cedars of Libanus.


8 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them that calumniate you.


0 Give to every one that asketh thee, and of him that taketh away thy goods, ask them not again.
