WHEN Jesus therefore understood that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus maketh more disciples, and baptizeth more than John,


1 Wherefore? Because I love you not? God knoweth it.


0 And his servants going forth into the ways, gathered together all that they found, both bad and good: and the marriage was filled with guests.


And now thus saith the Lord of hosts: Set your hearts to consider your ways.


WHO is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bosra, this beautiful one in his robe, walking in the greatness of his strength. I, that speak justice, and am a defender to save.


3 All thy children shall be taught of the Lord: and great shall be the peace of thy children.

And some of the Pharisees said to them: Why do you that which is not lawful on the sabbath days?


How he went into the house of God, and took and ate the bread of proposition, and gave to them that were with him, which is not lawful to eat but only for the priests?
