8 And the second came, saying: Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.


8 I will arise, and will go to my father, and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee:


5 And he went and cleaved to one of the citizens of that country. And he sent him into his farm to feed swine.


AND as they were speaking to the people, the priests, and the officer of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,


The same was in the beginning with God.


And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, bringing in the name of the Lord Jesus; and he persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.


8 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and unto the day of eternity. Amen.


6 And continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they took their meat with gladness and simplicity of heart;


9 I know that, after my departure, ravening wolves will enter in among you, not sparing the flock.


Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said to them: Ye princes of the people, and ancients, hear:


8 Amen I say to you, whatsoever you shall bind upon earth, shall be bound also in heaven; and whatsoever you shall loose upon earth, shall be loosed also in heaven.


9 But if it be of God, you cannot overthrow it, lest perhaps you be found even to fight against God. And they consented to him.


8 And they began to salute him: Hail, king of the Jews.


For they seek me from day to day, sad desire to know my ways, as a nation that hath done justice, and hath not forsaken the judgment of their God: they ask of me the judgments of justice: they are willing to approach to God.


5 And so Pilate being willing to satisfy the people, released to them Barabbas, and delivered up Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.


1 For she said within herself: If I shall touch only his garment, I shall be healed.


5 And he said to them: Have you never read what David did when he had need, and was hungry himself, and they that were with him?


9 And no man drinking old, hath presently a mind to new: for he saith, The old is better.


And some of the Pharisees said to them: Why do you that which is not lawful on the sabbath days?
